RULES

1. There is no limit to the number of tickets any individual may purchase. Up to 500 tickets may be sold.

2. Cost of each ticket is $25 cash, $27/ticket if purchased online or with credit card.

3. The Grand prize is a Henry Big Boy Brass Side Gate Rifle .44 Mag / .44 Spl., 2nd prize is a $250 Academy Gift Card 3rd prize is a Fire Pit. (Exact prizes are subject to availability at the time of purchase. A similar item will be substituted if original prize stated is not available).

4. By obtaining a raffle ticket you attest that you are a law-abiding citizen of good moral character, may legally possess

the firearm won, agree to use the firearm only in a legal safe manner, and will or have already obtained instruction on

the safe use and operation of the firearm won.

1. Random drawing will take place October 26, 2024.

2. You must be 18 years of age or older and a legal resident of the United States to purchase a ticket.

3. Winners of firearms must be at least 18 years of age to take possession of the firearm. Prizes are not transferable. The person designated on the ticket must claim the prize. NOTE: Tickets should not be made out to children under the age of 18, as they will be disqualified from winning any of the prizes.

4. Winner will be notified, using the name and phone number provided on the ticket stub completed by the purchaser. This will include online purchases. In the event American Legion Cortez/Norris Post

 

 

319 is unable to contact the winner by any means provided on the stub, it is the sole responsibility for the winning ticket holder to contact American Legion Cortez/Norris Post 319 to claim their prize.

1. Firearm must be claimed within 30 days of the date of the raffle drawing, or the winner will forfeit the prize.

2. All Federal Bureau of Tobacco and Firearms rules apply and by claiming a firearm prize you agree to provide all information necessary for transfer of firearm won.

3. Transfer will be done through a federal Firearms licensed (FFL) dealer, all applicable Federal and State Laws will apply, including the state laws for legal residence of winning ticketholder. American Legion Deer Park Post 319 solely reserves the right to select or change the location and / or dealer for transfer.

4. If the winner is not able to pass FFL Regulations, then the winner will forfeit all rights to the prize and another name will be drawn.

5. Winner will be responsible for any applicable Federal, State, and Local taxes.

6. Winners may be required to verify that ownership of the firearm won is legal in their state, city, or town prior to taking possession of the prize.

7. American Legion Deer Park Post 319 limits any and all liability to the purchase price of the ticket purchased.

8. American Legion Deer Park Post 319 will not sell or provide your contact information to any 3rd party organization.
